As you may already know here at Affect Health we are all about celebrating people living healthier happier lives. A big part of that is our stance on unrealistic expectations of beauty and weight. In our world saturated with photoshop, unrealistic beauty ideals, and cookie cutter advertisements this was a refreshing channel to find.
StyleLikeU is "a mother-daughter team leading a movement that empowers people to accept and express their true selves" aka AWESOME. I love how they celebrate unique style and individuality with well chosen questions and discussion in their videos. Here is one of my fav's:

The shoot was SO fun and I ended up being covered in tuna because my cats wanted nothing to do with me the whole time (super glam I know). How awesome are these?! Via the glorious world of Pinterest I stumbled upon DIYcandy's rendition of DIY nail polish mugs that is super easy and makes such a great gift idea. I love the inky water colour patterns that you can make. I'm thinking about trying some gold/metallics on some matter black mugs I found from a thirst shop - I'll keep you posted!
