There is a reason our Drinking Chocolate is constantly sold out... because it's scrumptious! It's also handmade in smaller batches - with lots of love. We like to think of chocolate mylk is the new health food. Yes, you heard us. Chocolate. Mylk.  Put down that brown coloured sugar syrup and pick up a spoonful of rich, chocolatey, antioxidant goodness!

We've taken 40% raw organic cacao and blended it with creamy coconut milk and rounded it out with a pinch of Himalayan sea salt and cinnamon.

Raw cacao is a natural source of magnesium and zinc as well as a rich source of polyphenols and bioflavonoids which is a fancy way of saying inflammation and antioxidant support (hello delicious anti-ageing magic).  Cacao is one of those amazing superfoods that not only tastes good but makes you feel good too.  

This mood enhancing reaction comes from the amino acid tryptophan which is abundantly found in raw cacao and causes aphrodisiac and relaxation effects.  We’ve also thrown in organic Saigon cinnamon to help regulate blood sugar levels and help control your sweet tooth.

Oh, we forgot to mention... kids love it too!


1. Healthy Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • Affect Health Drinking Chocolate
  • 8 oz boiled water or milk or milk alternative
  • 1-2 tsp of honey (opt)

Directions: 

  1. Stir in 2 tbsp of drinking chocolate with 8 ounces of boiled water or warmed milk/ your favourite milk alternative.
  2. Add a little honey to taste if you want it a little sweeter.
  3. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon if you like and enjoy!

2. Cafe Mocha - Drinking Chocolate with Espresso

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Affect Health Drinking Chocolate
  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 1 tsp of honey (opt)

Directions: 

  1. Stir in 1-2 tbsp of drinking chocolate with 2 shots of espresso (you can add it to regular coffee as well, I just personally enjoy espresso and have an espresso machine at home!)
  2. Add in any sweetener of your choice (honey / xylitol) if needed.
  3. Enjoy!

3. Creamy Iced Mint Chocolate Milk

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Affect Health Drinking Chocolate
  • 4 oz hot water or milk or milk alternative
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp of honey (opt)
  • 1 tsp of organic peppermint extract

Directions: 

  1. Stir in 2 tbsp of drinking chocolate with 4 oz hot water or boiled milk. **The powdered coconut milk in the Drinking Chocolate needs to be dissolved in hot water first to mix properly!
  2. Add in any sweetener of your choice if needed.
  3. Add a few drops of organic peppermint extract
  4. Shake over ice.
  5. DRINK THE WHOLE THING AND WANT ANOTHER!
